Morning Brief – 6:30 AM
The day starts early at Jackson & Foster, where our team gathers for the morning briefing. With coffee in hand, we review the day’s service schedule and discuss any emergency calls that came in overnight. Summer’s heating up, and we know what that means – busy days ahead.
First Call – 8:00 AM
Our first stop is a residential HVAC installation. The homeowner’s existing system is well past its prime, and they’ve opted for a complete system upgrade. We carefully remove the old unit, ensuring proper disposal of refrigerants according to EPA guidelines.
Midday Rush – 12:30 PM
After completing the morning installation, we tackle two AC repair calls:
– A faulty capacitor causing startup issues
– A frozen evaporator coil needing immediate attention
Afternoon Challenge – 2:45 PM
The summer heat is peaking when we receive an urgent call from a local business experiencing complete system failure. Their server room is rapidly heating up, making this a priority response. These are the moments when our training really pays off.
Wrapping Up – 5:30 PM
Before heading back to headquarters, we:
– Complete service documentation
– Restock our service vehicles
– Brief the on-call team about any pending issues
– Schedule follow-up visits for preventative maintenance
Every day brings new challenges in the HVAC world, but there’s nothing more satisfying than knowing we help keep our community comfortable and safe, regardless of the weather outside.
Remember, regular maintenance prevents most emergency calls, so don’t wait until your system fails to give it the attention it deserves.
