Morning Prep – 6:30 AM

The day begins early at Irish Air, where I check my service schedule while enjoying my first cup of coffee. Today’s route includes several stops around Franklin and Greenwood, with a final appointment in Southport.

First Call – 8:00 AM

My first stop is a furnace inspection in Franklin. Winter’s approaching, and homeowners are getting their heating systems ready. I perform our standard 21-point inspection, checking:

  • Heat exchanger integrity
  • Thermostat calibration
  • Filter condition
  • Electrical connections

Mid-Morning – 10:30 AM

Heading to Greenwood for an emergency service call. A family’s heating system stopped working overnight. After diagnosing the issue, I find a faulty ignitor – a common problem with older units. Thankfully, I have the replacement part in my truck.

Lunch Break – 12:30 PM

Quick lunch in my service vehicle while updating service records and checking upcoming appointments.

Afternoon – 2:00 PM

The afternoon involves a preventative maintenance visit in Southport. These routine checks are crucial for system longevity and efficiency. I take pride in explaining to customers how their HVAC systems work and sharing maintenance tips.

End of Day – 5:00 PM

Back at the shop, I restock my truck with commonly needed parts and submit my service reports. Another satisfying day helping central Indiana residents stay comfortable in their homes.

Being an HVAC professional means every day brings new challenges and opportunities to help people. Whether it’s maintaining furnaces or troubleshooting complex system issues, Irish Air’s commitment to quality service makes this work rewarding.
